Mauve

Mauve (#E0B0FF) is a somewhat saturated and fairly neutral and balanced shade of purple commonly associated with brilliant (80.7% match), calm (79.2% match), and emotional (77.5% match). When Mauve is combined with Lavender Blue, it appears calm and emotional. When joined with Dark Lavender, the mood becomes more calm. When Mauve is added to Thistle, it evokes calm and emotional feelings. When paired with its complementary color #D1FFB2, a darker, warmer, and less saturated variant of the shade "Very Light Green", it can convey happy or pretty emotions. However, when we analyze the color next to its other triadic colors, #FFE0B2 (a shade of "Navajo White") and #B2FFE0 (a shade of "Magic Mint"), the resulting palette becomes harder and warmer than the complementary color palette and changes from the color index category of "casual" to the "elegant" category. Specifically, the new triad produces a happy and pretty atmosphere.
